The Mont Alto LaunchBox will provide inspiration and education for entrepreneurs in November during three events that include an Entrepreneur Information Session on Nov. 12, and an Entrepreneurship Fall Forum on Nov. 14. The third event, an Entrepreneur Workshop, will be held on Nov. 29 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The events are all free of charge and open to the public.
On Oct. 19, Penn State Mont Alto’s 23rd annual Scholarship Social brought 140 donors and scholarship recipients together for a celebration that included good food, inspiring words of gratitude, and the musical sounds of the Mont Alto Chorale.

The Chorale’s performances are made possible by the Miner Choir Endowment, established in 2013 by Kathyrn Miner (center). The Roadblocks to Re-entry simulation at Penn State Mont Alto provides experiential learning for students, health care administrators, and others to learn what it is like to return to the community after being incarcerated.
The Mont Alto LaunchBox, a program to support entrepreneurs in Franklin County, will host its inaugural Entrepreneurship Fall Forum from 12:20 to 1:10 p.m. on Nov. 14 in the Wiestling Student Center on Penn State Mont Alto’s campus. The forum will feature Penn State students Shevy Karbasi and Jobe Matula, who have developed their own business ideas and acquired early-stage funding to help develop their products. The forum is open to all aspiring business entrepreneurs at no charge.
